Hello there.
If you’ve played a certain classic MMORPG, you’ve probably noticed it by now. If you know, you know. I’ve always gravitated toward this game, and it’s truly among the fondest memories I have of the Internet. I figured I might as well find a name from it that resonates with me. So yeah, welcome to my humble abode!
I’m not a stranger to the anime blogging sphere. I’ve been around long enough to know who Danny Choo was before he started his doll company, when animeblogger.net was still the biggest host for anime blogs, and when Secret Santa was still a big thing every December. As if I haven’t dated myself enough with the MMO game! My old website perished after a hosting incident, and I swore to myself then that I would be fully responsible for managing the hosting and domain ownership. Therefore, this “persona” is a redo of that old blogger who used to exist. Well, he still exists – and sometimes still tweets, but that previous persona has become a shell of its former self, so I’ve decided to just do a do-over. It stings that I’ve lost so many of the connections I used to have – all the “Exchange Links” from my previous site, which I treasured, even though they’d long been filled with retired and dormant blogs and bloggers.
Admittedly, I’ve become a lousy writer (from a blogging sense) after spending so long in the corporate world, with its penchant for formal, professional tone vs how informal I used to write. I’ll try my best to get back into my old (young?) groove!
